wow, this is pretty crazy. As someone who ran quite a few accounts for around 2 years and recently decided to take a bit of a break from eve, I can definitely say this kind of move will almost certainly push me to sell all my characters. I can only assume that the amount of RMT that goes on in eve will increase with this move. I really don't see anyone taking the occasional much needed breaks from eve, instead they will probably just quit for good.
CCP, is Paulson running your financial department now? 
edit: and the line about rewarding effort put directly into eve is ridiculous given GTC sales, etc. I think I would be hardpressed to come up with a stupider/more hypocritical move by CCP.

I'm curious as to what this 'dev blog' will say pertaining to CCP's desire for someone's in game time and actions to actually 'fairly affect' their achievements in EVE. GTCs anyone? Can we have the devs back who actually understand EVE and what is fun about it? Please!?
Seriously, EVE's current goals are entirely decided by either moronic or inept developers who are either pushing an entirely different game on us or are actually too stupid to do things that will positively affect EVE.

signed. I would love to see EVE be FAIR again... just like back in the old days where i could mission all day long in motsu with no lag! I pay for my 5 accounts with my hard earned cash so i can level up all my mission running characters at the same time. It's not fair that someone else can level up while not even grinding!!!! Wait... what game is this again?
It's also unfair that someone can kill me when I don't want them to. Please accompany this account buff with a warp core stabilizer buff!

WTF? You do realise they are not talking about skills training while you aren't logged in, but skills training on accounts that are no longer being paid for?
Oh... that's what they are talking about? Oh, i thought it was some game mechanic that had been in place for 5 years. If that's all then yeah, they should probably get rid of it for all teh extra jewgold.
